About Us

Customworks was established in 1998, creating bespoke products for the museum / heritage market in the UK, Europe, and beyond. With low minimum production, our products have appealed to a wide range of clients, from some of the most prestigious art institutions to the smallest of heritage sites. From just 6 people in 1998, our team in 2008 has now grown to 45. With our in-house design, print and manufacturing facilities, we can deliver your project quickly, be it big or small.

Working with many of the world’s leading art galleries, museums and historic sites, we recognised that these products would appeal to a much wider market, and so began the creation of our wholesale range, using some of the most famous images in the history of art and culture. The original museums benefit from a royalty on each sale, and we provide our customers with a stylish range of top-selling products. With Customworks sensitivity and recognition of the specific qualities of each site and our commitment to design and reproduction excellence, we have become established as a leading supplier in this exciting and ever-developing marketplace.

But our approach to product development also has a life beyond the museum market - proven product sales records, together with care in quality and presentation has brought the Customworks brand to the wider retail marketplace. We are proud to label our main product lines ‘made in the UK’ and continue to design, print and manufacture the majority of our products in-house here in our factory in Bo’ness.
